Introduction

Marketjunction.online (“Platform”) is operated by Marketjunction Sole Proprietorship, registered in Ghana, facilitating the sale and purchase of consumer products (“Products”).

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all users, including buyers and vendors. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you disagree, you must not use the Platform.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to access or use the Platform.

Marketjunction reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at its sole discretion.

User Accounts

To access certain features, users must create an account and provide accurate and complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities conducted under it.

Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately to marketjunctiononline@gmail.com

Vendor Requirements

Vendors must adhere to the following requirements:

Submit a valid business registration certificate issued by Ghana’s Registrar of Companies.
Ensure all Products meet high-quality standards and comply with Ghanaian regulations, including those set by the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and availability information.

Marketjunction Online reserves the right to vet vendors and remove those who fail to comply with these requirements.

Vendors are responsible for order fulfillment and handling returns in accordance with applicable policies.

Marketplace Rules

Marketjunction Online acts as a facilitator and is not a party to sales agreements between buyers and vendors, except when Marketjunction is the seller.

Buyers agree to pay the listed price for Products, including any applicable fees.

Marketjunction is not liable for errors in vendor-provided information or defects in Products.

Payments

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways, such as Paystack, Payswitch or MTN Mobile Money.

Vendors receive payments minus applicable commissions, as outlined in the Vendor Agreement.

Refunds are processed in accordance with the vendor’s return policy and Marketjunction’s Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, designs, and trademarks, is the property of Marketjunction or its licensors.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use Platform content without prior written permission.

Vendors grant Marketjunction Online a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use product images and descriptions for promotional purposes.

Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

Engaging in illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
Posting misleading, defamatory, or offensive content.
Disrupting the Platform’s functionality or security.

Violations of these prohibitions may result in account suspension or termination.

Liability

Marketjunction is not liable for any losses or damages arising from Product defects, vendor misconduct, or Platform interruptions.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

Marketjunction online liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the transaction in question.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes between buyers and vendors should be resolved directly. Marketjunction Online may offer mediation but is not obligated to intervene.

Any disputes involving Marketjunction Online will be resolved through binding arbitration in Accra, Ghana, under the rules of the Ghana Arbitration Centre.

Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with Marketjunction’s Privacy Policy and Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012.

Amendments

Marketjunction LLC may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
